Family Emergency Preparedness

So exactly how can you prepare?

When assessing your family’s preparedness, it is helpful to know that there are 8 identified areas of preparedness to consider. As a starting point, every family needs to be prepared in each of those eight areas for at least 72-hours. When a wide-spread emergency happens, it often takes that long for emergency officials to organize and begin to offer help. Once you have 72 hours covered, expand to a 1 month supply, then 3 months and then further.
