The LifeStraw Go water bottle incorporates award-winning filter technology into a convenient bottle which removes bacteria, protozoa, bad odor, taste, and some chemicals with requiring batteries or pumping. It's lightweight and slender design makes it perfect for hiking, travelling, and everyday use in areas where water may be unsafe to drink due to contamination by bacteria or parasites.
How It Works:
LifeStraw Go is an advanced 2-stage water filter bottle that protects against bacteria, parasites and microplastics, reduces chemicals like chlorine and improves water taste. The robust, leak-proof, BPA free bottle is built for harsh conditions and longevity. Ideal for hiking, camping, international travel and emergencies, it allows you to get water from a stream, river, or tap and filter it on the go.
Stage 1: Replaceable hollow fiber membrane removes:
• 99.999999% of bacteria (E. coli)
• 99.999% of parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc.)
• 99.999% of microplastics, silt, sand, and cloudiness
Lifetime of the hollow fiber membrane: 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons)
Stage 2: Replaceable activated carbon capsule reduces:
• Chlorine
• Bad odor and taste
• Organic chemical matter
Lifetime of the activated carbon capsule: 100 litres (26.4 gallons)
