Preparation Instructions:
To prepare a single serving:
1. Mix can contents.
2. Bring 1 1/4 cup of water to a boil
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add 1 1/2 cup dry mix.
5. Stir until mixed thoroughly.
6. Cover. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
7. Carefully drain excess water
8.Stir and serve.
To prepare the entire can:
Add 9 cups boiling water to contents of can. Follow steps 5 through 7 above.

Storage and Handling
Closed Shelf Life: 30 years
Open Shelf Life: 1 - 2 weeks
Do not open until you are ready to use. It is necessary to store Mountain House products properly to ensure maximum shelf life. Store the product in a cool area, avoid long-term storage above 72°F/22°C, and be careful to not puncture the cans. Under these conditions, Mountain House meals will maintain its shelf life for product quality, flavour and nutritional value. Once opened you can increase your shelf life by vacuum packing any unused portions or rehydrating all the product and freezing unused portions.
